Two strands of experience, one common approach
Current Folio brings together two strands of my professional experience: international law and academic publishing. Over more than fifteen years, I have worked across universities, government and international institutions, while also undertaking independent consultancy. This has given me extensive knowledge of international law and a broad understanding of the different processes involved in research, legal work and publishing.
My substantive expertise informs my work in academic publishing, and vice versa. The strength of an argument indeed depends in large part on the care taken in developing it. For me, that means paying close attention to structure and consistency, verifying the validity of each point, and constantly questioning whether it deserves to stay in the final product. This attention to detail is not separate from the bigger picture: it is what makes an analysis coherent, convincing, and capable of standing up to scrutiny.
